Congratulations to the La Salle Track and Field Varsity members : Robert Archempong and David Tarver who placed first and fifth with jumps of 39 feet 11 inches and 38 feet 1 inch in the Varsity Triple Jump. Sean Baum placed second in the Varsity 55meter Hurdles with a time of 8.2 seconds. Also, congratulations to the Freshman Track and Field Team who won the Sixth Annual Cardinal Hayes Invitational Championship.
La Salle placed: Fifth in the 2 mile run, Third in the 600 meter run, Third in the 1000 meter run, First and Third in the 1 mile run, Second in the 55 meter Hurdles, First, Second, Third, and Fourth in the High jump, Second, Third and Fifth in the Shot Put, First, Second and Fourth in the Triple Jump Special honors to Corey Simmons who broke a meet record of 38 feet 1 inch in the Freshman Triple Jump.
